      Ice cream or pudding?

Should I, or Shouldn't I, point out:  a two-item choice belongs in THIS or THAT?

      (Let's eat both.)

SioSI read Dante's Divine Comedy?  Yes, I missed it in school.

        @Cuervos626:

-They just did a live action out of Jo-Jo? How can that be, the poses and the physique of each character… I'm so intrigued, must watch it.

        Youtube Video

I've not seen it. It wasn't a commercial success here, though. The manga adaptation have been getting really good. Tokyo Ghoul, Full-Metal Alchemist, and Destiny: Kamakura no Monogatari are all excellent.

Yes, you should read Dante's Divine Comedy. The best is Inferno, so at least read that (with all the footnotes). Be sure you then examine The Gates of Hell by Rodin, it'll come alive to you once you know the story.

Should I or shouldn't I whitewash an old Balinese chest? I was going to throw it out but it's held up perfectly outside these past ten years; I've taken it in and refurbished it. To keep it inside the wood has to be lighter to match the interior. Bleaching it only took it so far, so it's whitewashing it or back on the veranda. Decisions, decisions. I'm going on a run to the DIY store this afternoon…

(Previous topic:  I seem to be the only person who loved Space Dandy, part of Toonami on Adult Swim about two years back.)

I know it's a bitch to take a pic, but this is a case where seeing is so much more than describing.  Anyway, without a photo of the chest, I vote for you to paste a giant applique of this tasteful Etsy graphic on the front…

Sorry, I forgot the back end…

SIoSI record all six episodes of Black Mirror, Season Four, available tomorrow, 12/29, and binge watch it all at once?  Or, should i spread out the joy and fright over several nights, or weeks?

Since you like Black Mirror - which I didn't - I'll apply what I'm doing with Killjoys.

Download them and save them for the end of bleak January.

Start my research project tomorrow then wait until January second to keep working or just take tomorrow off and start on January second.

Do it now. Start the new year fresh, not with something hanging over your head.

Should I eat chocolate covered coffee beans or have another cup of coffee?

Maybe you already made your decision.  But I would go for a handful of chocolate-covered coffee beans in most cases, as they are more of a "treat," I suppose.  It's good to treat yourself.

SIoSI buy an ice cream maker?

(What's your experience?  Worth the effort?  Is it likely to become one of those gadgets that gather dust, on the top shelf of the pantry, after a month or so?)

Similar to my fondue pot.  I use it once or twice a year but I'm happy to have it when I want it.  Get the ice-cream maker.

                    Make a beef carbonade today?

Every day is a day for home cooking, go for it!

(Flozen, I have a big ice cream maker and it sits on the veranda in a cupboard because the bowl has to be frozen, taking up too much room in my freezer to be practical for regular use. It is nice to have when company is coming. What I do keep in my freezer it this little gem: one serving that you make in your hand. It's a huge help in making sure I don't overeat. 😉 )

I've set up an electrolysis tub for cleaning rust! (I've been super handy this past week.) Right now it's cleaning the rust off an old school tai yaki maker. It does take time. Should I use my homemade machine to polish my copper pots or bear down and do the deed by hand?

                        1. Thanks, both, for SIoSI ice cream advice, the little Roku is adorable, perhaps I will find one that makes two cups, for sharing (or slightly greater indulgence).  If I become a famous ice cream brand I will name it… Flozen … and send you each annual royalties.

                        2)  I have two Belgian lesbian friends (everyone should), and they would highly approve of Flemish-influenced cooking that involved beer.  You should absolutely make the beef carbonnade!

                        3)  Any device that saves time doing mundane chores (like rust removal) is worth trying.  I am not a fan of copper or brass because of the unending maintenance.  I am half-tempted to say, pitch it (unless sentimental, or valuable antique) for a less fussy version.

SIoSI check out the movie 4 Days in France, which came out on DVD earlier this month?

It got dark here at 4:30 and my energy is drained.  I made Canadian chili (with dark flemish beer) and I'll make Beef carbonade after New Years.

You can always stop watching a movie if you don't like it.  Go for it.

                          Watch some porn.

I should watch porn one more time in 2017.  Hmm, that's a lot of pressure on who will be the last clip for 2017.  I like the new guy on Chaos, Dante Pierce.  To him goes the honor.

SIoSI take my 50 GB thumb drive, and make a "best-of" porn collection as a gift for my best friend?

Sounds good.  Providing you're making 'best of' to his taste.

Binge watch horror movies for New Year's?

Wohoo, that's sounds like a perfect stay-at-home date for me! Definitely, you should.

Should I buy nachos now that a new year has come?

I'm binge-watching The Twilight Zone for New Year's Day, and I would like to have some of Cuervos' nachos as a snack.

SIoSI tell a close friend that he needs a roommate to share expenses, because his business has been making less money for several years?

People say showering in cold water helps you live longer, so don't stop.

Shouldn't you be doing something more important than replying to this game thread on a pirating gay porn site/forum?

Pdt.- The Twilight Zone is such a classic.

It helps me wake-up in the morning or wind-down before going to sleep.

I have an outside concert this Saturday.  When we booked it we had no idea that the temperature would be something like -25.  Should I cancel at the last minute?  (I'm hoping they'll cancel instead.)

John got to the Cuervos post while I was writing, so I will answer both.

I should – and I am – doing something more important than playing SioSI.  I'm waiting for a table to be delivered, and so, I have to stay in the house until it arrives… and that's GT forum time!  So thus, I am doing both right now-- what a lucky day!

SIoSI tip a delivery team for delivering that small table – or can tipping be reserved for much bigger items; multiple items; or is tipping no longer observed in this situation?

(And yes, JA, I would try to divert the freezing outdoor activities indoors.  It will be uncommonly -- almost dangerously -- cold, and I know you Canadians are proud of your winter skills, but damn, it's going to be uncomfortable outside.)

For the concert on Saturday - the temperature is predicted at ~ -25.  The concert will only be for 15 minutes and my choir is getting paid a lot.  So far, it hasn't been cancelled.

Should I go for brunch afterwards.
