I feel your pain – my two cable-supplied DVRs are at 94 and 96 percent, respectively. And the Fast Forward is starting to jump. indicating that one day, the cable box recordings will become irretrievable.
My advice is that we should both do a Master Cleanse (lol) first, erasing the weakest third of our recordings. Then, no more recording until each of us watches at least half of what was left. Easier said than done!

You should add fish to your diet. Try quenelles from white fish fillets (less smell) poached in a vegetable broth. The Japanese use (cooking) sake to eliminate fish odors from food. Step one, lightly salt the fish fillets/slice on both sides for ten minutes. then wipe with a paper towel. (If you're using a blue fish you can add 1tbs sake to that.) Lightly fry to color in a tablespoon of vegetable oil then add 1:1:1 of soy sauce, mirin, sake (two parts sake if you're really sensitive to the smell). Super easy fish.
