No nowhere in the world has "gay people everywhere"…....probably not a good idea to hit on co-worker regardless of sexuality and yes if they feel uncomfortable you could be suited for big $$$

Depending on the neighbourhood, but generally people mind their own business, however if you are in the rough part of the town you might want to tone it down a bit.

-living standards
Crime rate has been increasing in certain areas. Against cost depends on personal standard and expectations (and how much money you have to shell out)

-career outlook
Sounds like you got it covered then

So it's not like Gay people are everywhere? or like if i try to hit on a co-worker i would be okay? or would they get me for sexual harassment or something?

oh yeah those no fats/no fems/no asians thing…... kinda racist honestly.....like you said how can you specifically not be attracted to a race in general. like what if their cute/hot?!
-in a non work setting i think i'm more interested in can you tell me more. from what you know of anyway. like do i have to be fearful of being openly out gay man in the streets or can i sashay along the streets in the Gayest outfit possible and expect to not get harassed?

-living standards
Holy shit thats expensive. But how about crime rate and security? so what would be a decent path to take.

-career outlook
i've heard of that. supposedly the doctors there are so swamped with work that they are just plainly exhausted more so on the daily. oh cool i am actually a family medicine doctor.

-why migrate
LOL

malaysia/thailand.
i've heard cost of living in Thailand is low but i kinda want a change of climate.... also malaysian cuisine and Thai aren't exactly to my palette (Too spicy based on cooking shows). plus the weather of those countries are too similar to the philippines and i'd have to learn thai? i'm assuming....or maybe not considering retirement homes and such angled at westerners. plus Thailand is rather gay friendly.....from what can tell superficially.

All major Australian cities have some kind of gay scene, however I'm not really into the scene myself; generally everyone is quite tolerant, especially at work as it's illegal to discriminate/bully anyone based on sexuality, but of course in a non working setting different people might experience certain degree of negativity but generally the community is accepting. However this might be controversial, within the gay community if you are Asian and/or over certain age, many people will probably ignore you, or seeing people saying that they are not interested in your age/race publicly on their profiles, some argue this is stating preference, but I think it can be put in a nicer way

-living standards and cost of living.
Aus/NZ are among world's highest cost of living countries - https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/rankings_by_country.jsp especially if you are looking at living in major cities and wanting to purchase a property, for example in Sydney, even inner city apartments could cost over 1 million dollars, energy cost is very high also. In Auckland petrol can cost over 2 dollars a liter, which means it will cost you close or over $100 every time you fill up your car. Due to small populations of both countries, things are generally more expensive than major European or North American countries

career outlook im sorta okay. i'm a Doctor by profession so i'd need to pass the Australian medical Board Exam equivalent but are there a lot of them hiring?
Not sure on this, but we constantly getting told we are in shortage of medical professionals, so I guess the answer is yes, there are many doctors from overseas who establish private clinic (General Practitioner - family clinic) here, and they seem to be well off, some popular doctors need you to book way in advance.

-i'm from the philippines. just type in Philippine news for the current year or so is enough of an answer.
Fair enough

-also it's actually part of my retirement plan to have like a cottage/ bed and breakfast honeybee farm type thing.
Personally I think part time doctor is a much better plan - due to smaller population and level of regulation and cost of labour, it could be costly, purchase the property, renovation work, and logistics are very expensive due to population are concentrated in major city only, if you need to transport stock from city to rural area, it is possible for the cost of transport to exceed the cost of the product

I think many western residents are actually retiring in Malaysia/Thailand where they have professionally set up retirement homes at affordable levels.
