We were getting closer and when things started to get into romance I felt like I should just tell her that I'm more interested in man than in woman. I was very afraid of her reaction but I had nobody else with intimacy enough to tell this. She took it kinda of well, was supportive and didn't tell anyone about it (that I know of), but we got distant and I could see a bit of dissapointment in her. Life moved on anyway and I felt relieved to have told it to someone.

There I made a lots of friends who understood me. I'm from a little town in Andalusia (Spain) so the option of comming out so young was out of question. In the university I also made friends who know I'm gay, people on university are more open-minded (still there was some assholes, but only a few). The only person I have came out is my best friend (and after a few weeks he came out on me telling me he was bi LOL).

Though, I told her that I was bisexual because I was in denial. 'Told her that it was a 60% to 40% ratio (boys to girls) and then I eventually came out to her and a few other female friends as gay.

I agree with you assuming that the reason you may choose not to come out is purely & truly because you could care less if people knew.

That aside, I think the first person to know was a girl-friend I had in middle school, 6th grade I think.
