<p dir="auto">It is placed under the upper lip for extended periods.</p>
<p dir="auto">Snus is not fermented and contains no added sweeteners.</p>
<p dir="auto">Although used similarly to American dipping tobacco, snus does not typically result in the need for spitting and, unlike naswar, snus is steam-pasteurized.</p>
