Mgr explained that PayPal allows credit cards to be used without creating an account in Germany/DE.

In the US, I know that PayPal also allows a credit card to be used without a PayPal account. To "connect" PayPal with a direct debit FROM a checking or saving account DOES require an account.

I consider PayPal extremely secure and have had an account with them for many years. I have it connected to both my credit card and my checking account – yet I keep my balance with them at zero.

But to each, their own decision.

To improve your ratio though, you could do several things:

Upload a torrent
Seed your already downloaded torrents
Post pictures to torrents for seed bonus points &
As mentioned earlier you could donate through paypal

Alas there is currently no other way to donate. But in Germany Paypal offers credit card donations[nb]I just used this kind of paying via Paypal myself so I can vouch for the validity. What I don't know if they also allow bank account transfers for unregistered accounts[/nb] without registering for an account. I don't know though if they do so in the US too. A call to their help desk could probably give you the correct answer.
