any action-script artists arround? the banner should use also actual informations like "33232 active users"

Since this is a User based sharing site, why not have a contest, let the people design some cool banners and give out seeding points for the winners?
Let us all have a chance to share in the creative aspect of the design of the site…

Your idea about the seeding points would discriminate the guys that do not know to design a banner.

Aslo i read a little on AS, and it seems you can pull info from an xml and post it in the flash. what is feeding the info on the front page?

@yng... fine.. it is a beginning.. but i thought about ANIMATED stuff.... and no tweens.... AS Animation..if maybe one of you is aware of doing GFX, an other one is able to program....
5gb isnt enough for SUCH a banner...
i would put the winner's account on upload only for maybe 2 month... depending on his impressive work..

So is this tied in with the contest banner thing, or is it something completely new? and if so, what are you looking for exactly? just general artsy animated banners, or actionscript type banners? (personaly I have no idea about action script, but I could always do the graphix, and if that fails, I can just learn the required action script :P)
