<![CDATA[Help, anti-virus took out torrent program]]>I have avg free on my system. I just today noticed that my utorrent wasn't working. Not only that, but it has been completely removed from my computer by the gosh danged anti-virus program….AVG. It won't let me remove it from the quarantine status. Any ideas on how to fix this? or which anti-virus program I can switch to that won't disallow my system from torrents?

Check to see if your utorrent settings and torrents are still present in "C:\Users<user name="">\AppData\Roaming" There should be a folder there called "utorrent". Try redownloading utorrent from http://www.utorrent.com/ and see if that fixes the problem.

Also, I uploaded the file to virustotal and it didn't look like AVG detected it, maybe it is a behavior blocker detection or the utorrent file you downloaded may have been fake.
