<![CDATA[What should I expect from anal in terms of soreness?]]>I'm still a beginner at anal play and all I have a dildo and a smaller buttplug. The buttplug is pretty easy but I'd say the dildo is pretty average size but every time I use it, my ass gets really sore. Double backed a bit there. But when I was starting out I guess I can see that appeal of pushing through. I think the thing I'm most worried about is if I'm doing too much damage now that it will be IMPOSSIBLE to do it later.

I believe that a little pain is expected and that tingling bit of pain helps to amplify the sensitivity of the nerves for the pleasures of being probed by the penis.

This is the most important thing ever… and don't just think one lube fits all, try different ones as you might be reacting to the lube and not the toy.. saying that you could also react to the toy which creates the soreness.. Some people just aren't wired to be able to bottom. I have enjoyed doing so in the past, but then follow up with nasty prolapsed hemorrhoids (a quarter sized, super tender lump hanging out of my hole, making it hard to do normal bathroom functions or to clean up after such), making it not worth it to me. I'll have issues if I even use a narrow toy, so I just avoid it.
