It was fucking great.

Totally different than the first one - yeah , but hmm… What I maybe liked more about the previous season was the fact that actually it was (...I know it sounds crazy, but) more realistic. Like you know... Just a little more. I didn't also get the memory time with Jane being found by Hopper. Like it was happening so fast I was really confused and figured it out few episodes later.
Dustin was a little annoying at the begining but in the end Dart really did help out.
Will... was such a poor guy well.
Mike - great character. I didn't like him a lot but he really grew. He was with his friend the whole time and few times he really did show his intelligence and bravery.
I pretty much knew Bob will die. Shame. He wasn't exciting but he was so goofy and innocent. A tragic death. Maybe if he didn't tell Will what he did, Will would outrun the Shadow Monster and didn't get infected.
Hopper is great shit as ever.
Max - a new character, wow. She was sometimes portraited as annoying and at first she didn't like them , then she was excluded by them but yeah I guess they could actually let her in to the party. She had a nice moment when she handled her brother.
Her brother - what a fucking shitty character. Like really. He was portraited as badass and a villain. But why? I don't see the point. I always thought he/they have a secret. Or they are special too like 011 and 008. But lol. He was just an asshole - because. He was so irrelevant to the whole story.
Jane was great. She did have her freakouts but that's what she's abouut. I thought she'll maybe die, but she didn't. Nice to get to know about her mother and sister. The sister arc made the whole show look pretty much like HEROES TV series. Like exactly the same. I don't know if I liked it or didn't but ... hmm it was something new. Though it ended pretty quickly. I'm glad Jane didn't got involved into the whole revenge thing and instead went to help her friends.
Winona Ryder - I don't have any idea what her character's name is but I love her. She's such a great strong, independent woman xD But really. She knows what to do. She's strong, wise, desperate. Her determination to save Hopper and Will was really amazing. I loved her and Will's acting. Such great actors, really.

You think maybe... season 3 ?

second season will be out later this year, I'm excited to see it as well
