<![CDATA[Speed Question (Technical)]]>Greetings!

Just a quick one I think, my line speed is 100m down and 6m up consistently without my VPN then varied 40-60m down 5-6m up with VPN enabled. Is it normal that I never get passed 700ks/s when uploading VPN or not? I've tried various bandwidth settings in utorrent including unlimited and all the settings options in the BitTorrent tab are unchecked - DHT, Peer discovery/exchange etc. Encryption is enabled with incoming legacy connections enabled. Could it be my isp restricting me? I understand there needs to be lechers etc but I get this same restricted upload speed even when seeding popular torrents including ones I’ve uploaded when I’ve been the only seeder with 4-5 peers connected. Any ideas. Thanks.

If your provider tells you you have 6 mb/s up that means indeed around 700ko/s is fine  . you are mistaking bits and bytes … Utorrent is talking in bytes, your provider in bits .
check converter here : https://www.google.fr/search?q=convert+bits/sec+to+mbps&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr&ei=MYF-WNrMJsWsa-LelbAE
put in first "6" pick " megabits per seconds" , pick " kilobytes per second" on the other one and it gives 750 which is close to what you have. no problem here.
