While not vast, I've spent a painstaking amount of time finding names and cover art for my porn collection. I also have a little sprinkling of music, movies, & TV there as well. I can be found on Plex with the same username as seen here. Happy to Share 4 Share!

I use a program called FileBot to rename almost all of my media. It doesn't do porn, but it does TV Shows, Movies and Documentaries pretty accurately and you can set it to the settings you like such as in these examples. TV Shows = TV Show Name - S01E01 - Get it Together (as episode name). Movies = Movie Name (2020, Matt Sterling) 720p, 6ch where "Matt Sterling" is Producer. You can change settings to Lead Actors instead, etc. Plex used to have as a PlugIn some gay porn renaming tool addons but they've done away with them over the past year. Sadly, it was the last part of my library I needed to rename and still need to do so I guess I'll do it manually. If you're interested in sharing your vast library, I too have over 2,000 mainstream movies, 500 LGBT themed movies, Gay Short Stories, 1,500 TV shows with most having all seasons and episodes as well as around 50 LGBT TV shows. I currently have around 36TB of storage running my server and I thoroughly enjoy keeping it up to date and sharing with friends. Sounds like you too have this passion so it might be fun to share with each other. Let me know.

I have over a tb of content, and I have looked at a lot of programs for organizing, tagging, and sorting media. If you can get it to work with wine, I have found that for me, windows live photo gallery is my favorite sorting tool. It works great with folder based libraries, adding tags is easy, and it can auto import most existing metadata.

They are used to download, rename, sort TV and movies. They talk to a downloader (like a bittorrent or usenet client) and then once it's downloaded they rename and move it into the correct spot to get picked up by your media server. Use "rename" on the command line and mainly use regex for that so I'm probably covered there.

@<bdi>MrMazda</bdi>

Yeah I use "rename" on the cli along with "find" so that I can find all files that match a string "men at play" for example, copy them all to 1 folder, then run a handful of rename commands on them to clean them up and fit the format I like best.
