It's true, I don't really know what I'm looking for. I started looking at resorts/vacation spots on a whim when I saw an ad online. It's something I want to do in the future. Thanks for the links, I'll take a look at those.

Chub and bear are also not the same. This is a big misconception. There are many bears who don't consider or identify themselves as chub. There are many chubs who refuse to label themselves after an animal. Usually bears go to the gym and keep a healthy active lifestyle. Usually chubs don't care about their bodies or their body image. But there are chubs who consider themselves bear and vice versa.  So it's complicated.

Me I'm a fem black slender twink and I'm attracted to all men of all shapes and sizes. But I understand that not all gay men think like this.

But going back, what do you mean by fat?

Are you a little pudgy and kinda stocky? Like you have a little meat on your bones but are still active and can wear regular sized clothes and walk up stairs and can run and ride a bike etc.

Then you should be fine at any gay event and you shouldn't worry.

Are you obese and large? Then you would probably have to find a chub or chub chaser group for that if you are going to meet people and to have romantic liaisons, yes I agree.

It doesn't need to be, but I thought it would be nice - there's zero gay community where I live. It's be a nice 180 y'know? But it would totally suck if I got there and found out that even though everyone's accepting of gay people, they might not be so much with fat gay people. It'd be just the kind of thing that'd lowkey ruin the mood of the whole vacation. Maybe I'm worrying about nothing but I've learned to be cautious

Like I said - I'd probably pick a fat guy, so I'm sure out of all people in any gay resort - there will deffinitely be somebody who would pick you as well. But there are more factors, not just your body type. I may be attracted to a fat guy, but personality always plays a big part as well. There are plenty of perfectly built guys who are so arrogant and full of themselves and I can't stand spending even 5 minutes in their company because their attitude sucks - that is a huge turn off for me.
If you worry so much - why don't you try dating before you go to vacation? There's a chance you'll find some special guy and you can take him with you so you can enjoy that vacation together

why does it need to be gay resort?
do you want just vacation or do you actually want something more than that?
if it's just a vacation then you shouldn't care what others think about your looks, you just go and enjoy yourself.
if you want something more - go to any gay resort and I'm sure there'll be at least one guy who likes bigger men (I like bigger dudes as well).
