How old where you when you came out?

I first came out when I was 18 to my chemistry lab partner, who ultimately ended up being one of my best friends ;D

I was 15 and I had a boyfriend who was 26. There was no drama with family, they just accepted it and we moved on to the next topic…I am very lucky to have had this kind of experience and thankful for the loving and understanding relationship I had with my parents, especially my father. He was the coolest dad ever. :thankyou:

I'm pretty sure I was 14 when I came out to my fam…. not the best experience but oh well.... they're over it. my dad was like it's ok, I know, but you need to be straight... ::)

I was about 21 years old during a small party with some friends.

I never came out. I was raised in a modern environment where I never realized that as a kid you had to tell someone your sexual preference. I just one day introduced my boyfriend to people and people reacted the same was as if it were a girlfriend.
Wow man, that is just perfect! I wish it was that way for all of us.

I was 20 and the first person was my mom. She already knew somehow, but it felt so good telling her and she was very supportive. :love:

I was 21 when I came out to my mom. I didn't have a choice when he asked me things about my "friend" that keeps on visiting. Thank God she's the coolest mom ever. I love you mom :love: Although you'll probably never see this post ;D

I was 17. I told it to the guy I had a crush on. The result was reject. I'm happy that we are still friends at least.
He was surprised because he considered gays to have very specific clothing style and the way they speak… -
