Looking back as far as I can remember, it’s always been guys--for the most part, any female best friends came in the form of being girlfriends or fuck buddies as well.

My CLOSEST friend is female though.

When I hang with my female friends, it's usually about gossip...like talking about hot guys and stuff.
When I hang with my guy friends, it's usually about video games and drinking/bar hopping.

It is something i have thought about - like the why and the how but it is what it is… My Best Friends are 4 ppl - 2 female. 2 Male - the two males are a couple in another country as is one of the females, I see them but obviously not often.
