Did the internet and bathhouses kill it off? Yes. The main reason cruising was done because it was hard to find other guys to have sex with. With homosexuality somewhat being accepted as a "to each their own" type of thing, and the internet and having somewhat safe places for guys to have sex, there is no reason to risk being in a public washroom and doing that shit.

If you want to go to a bathhouse or sex dungeon or cruise in the alley or at the park or whatever and take the guy home later or go to a hotel room or whatever, that's fine and I understand that still is active.

People say that a lot… but I think that's more of a myth. Europeans are so much more open sexually, in my experience.
The problem with Brazilians in general is that we don't really know what we want... if we want to be an eternal carnival party with open sex or if we want to be a puritan moralist christian theocracy (I believe this contradiction is at a tie at the moment)... so, yeah... if you get lucky you will find sexually open people, but I warn you that you might end up being judged and being called a slut.

No, you can get on the sex offender registry for the dumbest shit. Underage teens sending nudes to each other, drunk guys pissing in public… Just because someone is on that list, it doesn't mean they actually did anything.

Bathrooms were often the only place a strait closeted man could find what he wanted, so to that extent, there are other options in the privacy of one's own computer world. But anywhere you can see men wag their willies is likely to be a place where there will be spectators and more.

i think it applies to anyone involved as long as it involves nudity to an extent and being in public. it also depends on which state you are in.
