Wow are you sure? Ive been practising deepthroating and I still gag. But you are right, I don't gag as much if I concentrate but then I lose all pleasure.

I used to use my hand wrapped around the other chap's cock as a kind of depth check; I could set the exact depth before the gag reflex then no more. As I became more expert I didn't need to do this as the reflex became suppressed whilst joy increased.

Keep at it, you will become better as you go on. Best thing, enjoy it, give him pleasure whilst having a great time yourself. Work towards the deep throat, keep him in anticipation, play with the glans, slide the foreskin back and forth, go deeper with each stroke then draw back. Let the end come out of your mouth then tickle the end with your lips and tongue briefly before more lip action, getting gradually deeper every time.
