To fix my ratio I simply need to re-download and then seed it? (even if it has 0 leechers?)

I just downloaded this:

It finished and then started seed for 5 minutes at ~160kb/s but it's stopped the seeding now, what could possibly be the reason?

You will need the torrent file (download again if needed), open it as usual and then point your torrent client to the original file.

Sadly unless someone actually downloads what you are seeding, you will get no upload credit. However if you leave the torrent seeding, you will get the 0.5 bonus point for each hour. And you never know when someone might decide to download the file and you will be there waiting.

sutieday is right that downloading freeleech torrents (you are allowed one at a time) is a good way to improve your ratio.

However the BEST way is probably to post your own original torrent (a popular one but not a duplicate) πŸ™‚

I think the best way to improve your ratio is to download freeleech torrents and seed them! Preferably download files with large amounts of leechers to get a larger pool of people to seed to. You should see your ratio go up in no time at allΒ  πŸ˜„
