But I find I sweat much, much more than the average person. I get sweat circles on my shirts from standing still! I break a sweat running to answer the phone. And so help me if I want to go to the gym. I'm drenched after just a few minutes!

Does anyone else have this problem, or maybe any tips to curb it?

I only sweat in a couple of areas but I find if I use talc during the daytime the sweat and movement of clothing causes talc to creep across the skin and collect in skin creases which become dry and sore.

This is a really good and concise bit of info on antiperpirants which mentions several US brands:

If its not thyroid, ask your doc for a prescrip for oxybutynin its the generic version of Ditropan, the stuff they give women for over active bladders. It will make your mouth dry but it works keeping the sweat down. I used to sweat through an undershirt, dress shirt and would even take a wash rag and fold it in 4ths and would still have to change shirts at lunch working in an office. It cut the sweat WAY down on me.
Your doc will never have heard of using it for sweat, but they can check online. I take it everyday

I still get sweat circles but more normal ones and not so embarrassing. You can either use baby powder or deodorants/antiperspirants with talc in their ingredients (Borotalco comes to mind, idk if it wxists where you live). Also, if you are using spray deodorant/antiperspirant, change to stick/solid. Seriously, I have been using spray for years, tons of it tbh and all different brands, and none of them helped a bit. Once I changed to solid I use way less deodorant/antiperspirant and it's much more effective (both with odor and amount of sweat).

I will also agree with the aluminium chloride, altho I have never tried it personally, I have heard it by many as a solution.

But this summer I have been sweating a lot too (and come from a different continent). I guess it's good to have short hair. The longer my hair the more I sweat.

I use those deo krystals (alunite) and they work quite well.
