For the first time since I could vote I didn't even go to the polling station, not even to spoil my ballot paper.

The people on both sides were so noxious I just couldn't dignify them with a cross

It was like choosing between Jesse Helms on one side and Jerry Falwell on the other.

And surely there are better things to do than watch the results of a referendum. I know I'm watching paint dry for fun  :laugh:
