Anyone still in the closet?

Out to some people but not to all. Especially after a dramatic negative experience (when I first came out) I had when I was at school back in mid-late 2008, my mind hasn't been the same since (also why I stopped having a social life for about 6.5-7 years).
Only out to a few of my work colleagues, two I told them when I was drunk and the other I confessed I was attracted to him. He said that unfortunately he doesn't feel the same for me but can just stay as friends.
The majority of people I'd tell now being in my early 20's will have little to no issues with it at all, it's just that experience from many years ago that's caused some mental issues for me.
Also I actually haven't heard anyone say anything anti-gay/homophobic like since I was at college (finished it in 2011) doing an IT course and a chav somehow was on the course and when the subject of homosexuality came up he'd brag how much he hated gays. Shame really because I found him to be as sexy as fuck, I would have played with him if he didn't have a girlfriend and was gay or a (gay friendly) straight guy up for some fun (as I know there are strangely those types).
There are gays at my work place but none of them I find attractive, and the majority of them are around 10+ years older than me (not into guys with a large age gap, preferably same age, slightly younger or slightly older) XD

I am still in my closet and I think my family start to notice but because of their pride, they pretend they have a normal son in their family.

I live in Indiana. The folks I know are too homophobic for words. A few years ago one of them figured me out and avoided me for months - once I caught on I returned the favor. And he was one of the nicer ones. All my gay friends have passed away - some from aids, some suicide, some drug overdoses, a couple were killed. I gave up a very long time ago. There's nothing like living in the dark ages.

I have no knowledge of Indiana but given the number of cities and the listings of gay bars for the state I wondered if there might be something near you. Please bear in mind I am from England and don't know a lot about huge distances

I'm from India and although we are seeing a lot of developments and changes going on homosexuality is still a criminal offence that could land you you in jail for better half of a decade, not saying about the social shunning you would get
so yes some may call me a coward but I'm not out to my family and friends, but two of my best friends knows and they are supportive and so at least i have something to be thankful of -
I came out to my parents when I was 16 and I'm 23 atm.
