Thanks a lot, it works beautifully. And it supports a bunch of plugins too !!
It seems that the issue with other clients is related to an expired ssl certificate,
the connection is successful choosing to ignore it 😉

If you want to use the regular GT.ru chat, you can do so with an ordinary chat client such as mIRC or xChat. The information you need is as follows:

Regular IRC
Server: irc.gaytor.rent
Port: 6667
Channel: #gaytor.rent

Secure (SSL) IRC
Server: irc.gaytor.rent
Port: 6697
Channel: #gaytor.rent

The security problem wasn't in the chat itself, but rather had to do with the way that the web interface worked. So, it's not entirely true that we fully pulled the plug on the chat. The IRC has always been available and still is. 🙂
