<p dir="auto">You sort through pictures / profiles, and if you like someone you swipe to the right.  I assume that if you do swipe to the right, it appears in that person's next set of profiles, unless they have already said no to you and did a left swipe.</p>
<p dir="auto">So here is the complication...</p>
<p dir="auto">If I swipe to the right and they swipe to the right, why is it that when you do message someone, you never get any form of correspondence?  I can not see getting responses on sites like OkCuppid, because in a sense you are cold messaging.  On Tinder, if two people swipe right for each other, they are essentially saying they want to know more about each other.  I mean.. isn't that the point?  It cuts out the cold messaging and gets straight to the guys you want to talk to?</p>
<p dir="auto">Am I completely missing the purpose of this app?</p>
