But that would be based on an assumption that the torrents were of a particularly "popular" nature, but on many of my torrents that I seed, there are very few seeders– on of the reasons that I keep seeding them, and at this point in time, the vast majority are older themed movies. (I also use my seedpoints to make movies that I think people would otherwise not try freeleech so as to diversify peoples collections  )

Just make sure you are giving back AT LEAST as much as you take and seed as many as you can. I usually have at least 100 seeding, and sometimes over 200– right now I am seeding 197 torrents so you just do what you can. Don't drive yourself crazy.  :cheesy2:

The short and sweet answer is power user status is obtained when you have been a member for at least 4 weeks, have a share ratio of at least 1.000 and have more than 40 GB of upload.

But in general these days, if others are downloading, I bow out to let them have a chance of seeding as well, usually after I've done my 1.0.

User Groups - you can work out when you will progress for yourself. Some are automatic, some are in the lap of the gods (they know who they are).

Now if you want an explanation about ratio try Here. The last person who understood that was taken away and locked up with three burly bears. No, that is not an invitation.

But you are building a good ratio so don't let it put you off downloading. If you keep your torrent client open it will often be sufficient.

And even if your ratio falls below the required level, you don't get thrown off the site, there are just limits imposed on downloading new torrents. And plenty of people will help you get your ratio back on track.
