<![CDATA[Are you attracted to transgender people?]]>About a year I decided to stop using the term "gay" to identify myself since I don't really like labels. Now, whenever someone asks me, I will just answer "queer", it's a much more fluid word. One of the main reasons I don't identify with the more strict "gay" label is because I feel sexual attraction towards FTM transgender people. Not only I could totally date and/or have sex with someone who has fully transitioned, but I really like the idea of being with someone who identifies as male, has started hormone therapy and undergone chest surgery but hasn't undergone genital surgery yet. Basically what I'm trying to say is that I'm attracted towards people who identify as men and look like men, except for the fact that they have a vagina. Someone told to me that I should basically start calling myself bisexual because of this, but I think that this would not feel right since I'm not attracted to cisgender women (apart from making out with friends, I never really fancied girls in a sexual way). At the same I feel really uncomfortable with the idea of having sex with a transexual woman (MTF) who haven't undergone genital surgery.

(DISCLAIMER: I have absolutely no problem with individuals of any gender/sexuality, I could absolutely be friends with anyone. This whole thing has to do with my personal preferences in terms of sexual attraction ONLY!!!)

Basically I think my situation is basically that I'm attracted to anyone who has the body physique/characteristics of a male and identifies as a male, with the genital part being less important.

Does anyone else have the same thing or maybe the opposite? I would love to talk about it!

NONE of them have ever turned me down simply for being trans. later in life i came out as bi , still didnt feel right

at the age of 30 i met an amazing woman who had transitioned and she explained to me the concept of being pan
it was like FINALLY , i belong , of course i lost a lot of gay friends , im not sure why gays are threatened a lot more than straights , actually it seems to be common in some monosexuals to feel threat when it comes to bisexuality and pansexuality personally

but i am finally content , you don't need a label , but its nice to know there are others like you , that have the same ethic
that it does not matter what someone's gender is , if they are willing to treat you with dignity and respect , you can love them fall in love with them and not see the junk in the trunk as the be all and end all

but different strokes for different folks i suppose .
