Exchanging Snapchats, becoming friends on different social networks, or videochatting through Skype or another video platform can be good ways to get a reassurance for meeting them.

Where do you live (country/city). And based on that, how confident you feel with the person you are talking to online? There are many factors that need to be taken into consideration. But on a general basis, we sould not isolate ourselves. Try to meet somewhere public, like a cafe, a mall or something, or go clubbing with the person… I don't know. You must find this answer within yourself.
