Grimbergen is nice (the red one is great) but in summer a nice glass of chill rosé from Côtes du Rhône or from Provence with dinner , that's quite refreshing. I mean the question " wine or beer" is bit too restrictive.. you don't drink beer the same way you drink wine : you drink wine with a meal and you drink beer at a pub after dinner. One doesnt exclude the other.

Depends a bit on the outside temperature: on a hot day, there's nothing better than a cold beer. However, I'm mostly having water & tea, and occasionally a bottle of red wine.

I typically drink beer (cheap stuff), but sometimes I really like a big bottle of cheap-o red Wal*Morgue wine. I honestly don't care about taste or quality over cost. I drink to get drunk.

the thing with vodka and beer is, when you drink it every night it's an addiction/problem.

Never tried beer, as for wine, I don't like it that much. Off topic but I love my hard liquor. Some scotch, whiskey, vodka, etc are nice.

i have noticed more people preferring whiskey or scotch in recent years. personally i love me my absinthe.
However i just couldn't like scotch or whiskey. -
beer all the way! sweet and chilled white wine can be nice - but i get some lame when i'm drunk on wine lol.
