Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone were great in their roles, and their chemistry was the best part of both movies, but I was otherwise unhappy with the rest of it. Spider-Man had a great take on the origin, and Amazing's take was comparatively sub-par; I really disliked that Uncle Ben never says "With great power comes great responsibility." The villains lacked menace, and didn't feel like credible threats. Peter unintentionally came across as a jerk; while Spider-Man 3 is derided for its unsympathetic take on Peter, at least it was intentional there.

I agree the Chemistry was the only thing that I liked abou the series
