He's the literal basis for the Patrick Bateman character in American Psycho. So, most of his roles seem to be about a cis-het man pushed to the breaking point and fighting to keep his head from exploding in some way. To keep cool, calm. A lot of plots of his films revolve around being an unlikable, shameless, sleazy capitalist or fighting over inherited wealth. So… He's a fascinating sociological study.

Which I enjoy doing through watching his movies because he's freaking hot as hell.

I've always thought he was. Though I get a less than stellar vibe about him as a person. His private life is a mess.

There was just this period in the 2000's when he had just divorced Nicole Kidman and during the whole period when he was married with Katie Holmes that he was insufferable.
