Now I've moved to a new place and there's now fitness with spinning class around my place. So I plan to buy a spinning bike for myself. There are some models with LCD monitor to tell the distance, calorie and heart rate which are more expensive than those without monitor. I'm wondering if the monitor is accurate and worth spending more money on it. My friend also tells me to buy a mountain bike instead but I'm not sure if it can help me burn calorie as much as spinning bike.

Start off easy but then challenge yourself to more difficult trails and terrain. Find some friends to join you. You won't regret it!

Mountain biking is likely to work muscles harder as opposed to cardio.

Mountain biking uses different muscles and isn't as boring. Look for a "fat bike" (4 inch wide tires) so you can use it all year round. We have them as they are great.
