I've been having the problem of my torrents not getting uploaded as well, either the torrents I downloaded or the ones I created myself. So I've tried several ways and just found a solution that works for me. It's based on the Upload Guide (https://www.gaytor.rent/uploadguide.php#95) step 5 Troubleshooting.

1.Click at my name at the top left (Welcome back, [my name]) to go to my Profile page.
2.Scroll down to Currently Seeding or Uploaded Torrents. Click Show… torrents link to show the list of all torrents.
3.For the ones I want to upload but having the problem, click on the torrent name to go to the torrent page.
4.Delete the torrent task in my torrent client, then on this torrent page, download the torrent again.
5.Open the torrent file in the client again, then choose the same path to where I have all the content files on my machine.
6.Start seeding again, Voila! now the upload starts.

I don't know why it doesn't upload using the first torrent file, but when I go through My Profile page and re-download the torrent file, it works. This is quite a crazy bug I think.

I can assure you that having to remove the torrent and re-add it with the torrent file from the site is not a bug… This is because when you first create the torrent, in reality, you can use any tracker that you want to create the .torrent file. That being said however, when it is uploaded to the site, the system changes all the trackers on the .torrent file to match the tracker for GT.ru. Our system uses a passkey to identify which specific user that you are. As this value is different for each individual user, the system will automatically adapt the .torrent file to adjust the passkey to your own, which will NOT be contained in the original .torrent file, but can be found in the one downloaded from the site.

Simply put, you need to re-download the .torrent file to seed the torrent after upload so that the system can properly track the torrent and attach the data values from upload and/or download to your correct profile. This is not something that can be done using the .torrent file that you create to upload the torrent itself.

Off topic I know, but is this why scrape is disabled? Because we each have a unique tracker?

You wouldn't be able to seed anything unless it had downloaded your file.

Why your manual download worked after beats me

I just use the manual upload page anyway

I just created my first torrent and started seeding it - it was going pitifully slow and kept dropping all the peers. I went through 2 hours of jumping through hoops, looking up configurations, disabling and re-enabling all my security, and scouring for any kind of answer. Then I just downloaded my own torrent, pointed it back to my own file, and BOOM all the peers are there and I'm uploading at full speed.

Seriously, QuickTorrent Maker should come with some sort of disclaimer that you have to download the REAL torrent file from the main site.

Anyway, thanks!

The picture is what I use in uTorrent to create a torrent file. When I press create uTorrent does ask if I want to continue. Yes.

When I download my torrent to start seeding, the site has added the correct tracker. Works on all the sites I use.

Two advantages: You don't have to remember/find the tracker URL for each site. You can upload the same torrent file to different sites, it doesn't become specific to each site until it is uploaded

Some have many seeders and little or zero leechers, which would be one reason for no upload.
