]]>https://community.gaytor.rent/post/135811https://community.gaytor.rent/post/135811Sat, 04 Jul 2015 22:22:50 GMT<![CDATA[Reply to Do you guys celebrate "Gay Pride?" on Sat, 04 Jul 2015 06:25:08 GMT]]>I wouldn't say that I celebrate gay pride, but in the cities that I have lived in in the past that had organized functions and events, I did participate.  I like to volunteer for organizations that support causes of importance to myself, so those organizations almost always had a presence in a Pride Parade or Festival.  Whether it was walking in a March, riding a float in a parade (fully, but comfortably clothed here!), or helping organize our presence, it was fun.

My idea of celebrating Pride nowadays, is inviting good friends over, having the bloody marys and Mimosas flowing freely, music in the background, and just having a good time socializing with good people.  I'm past the age of dressing as skimpy as possible, going from bar to bar dancing all night, or in search of (?), and finally passing out at the end of the night due to dehydration. That's fun and cute in your 20s, but not so much in your 40s.
