<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0"><channel><title><![CDATA[Reporting Duplicates]]></title><description><![CDATA[<p dir="auto">When reporting a duplicate it important to understand which torrent is actually the original and the duplicate.  If you look at the example and the Added date it first appears that they are reported correctly, but however they are not.    One misunderstanding I believe is in the date, the system uses Year-Month-Day  Time Format.  The other is not realizing when torrents are promoted (recycled) the date in the “added date” gets moved into the description as  "Original upload: xx-xx-xx ".  Then the new date added get set to when it was promoted.<br />
So now they have been reported incorrectly, the one reported as the duplicate is actually the Original.<br />
Incorrect reports just get  “deleted”,  no way to fix the incorrect report.</p>

<p dir="auto">DUPLICATE files are not allowed and will be removed. You are expected to run a search for duplicates prior to submitting a torrent. A file is considered a duplicate if an existing torrent has the same format and similar size (&lt;10% difference) and has at least one seeder.</p>

I seem to recall from an earlier post that merely adding pictures along with a previosuly-uploaded video does NOT make it a new upload. In other words, adding pictures makes no difference. The +/- 10% rule applies to the video file, not the collection of files as a whole.</p>
<p dir="auto">Or at least that's what I understood from the Forum previously. Have I been wrong all this time?</p>

<p dir="auto">In most (but not all) cases, the zip file contains photos that the studios provide alongside the video on their sites.</p>
<p dir="auto">In your instance, you can click on the "Num files" and see that the zip is "SS_XavierRyan_BillySaint_JustinCross_2400highres.zip".  The 'highres' is an indicator of high-resolution photos.</p>
<p dir="auto">Whether one of these posts counts as a dupe, hope you get a response.</p>

<p dir="auto">There isn't a duplicate report in the queue with your name on it, so… either it was approved as valid, and you got your 50 points (which you said you can't recall, anyway) or your report was rejected for being invalid.</p>
