As we state very clearly in our terms, we are very committed to protecting the privacy of our users. We understand that removing the chat box is not exactly the most convenient method for our users, but it was necessary as at least a temporary measure in order to protect the privacy of our users.

The Helpdesk remained very quiet, no massive outcry about the chatbox been gone from the "Search" and "Home" pages. Only side issues related were creating tickets as far as I noticed.

Then Maybe have it be a profile option to enable it for those that do want it?

I liked the chatbox because a lot of new users who needed help with their ratio would ask how to improve it. When I saw this I would encourage them to upload a torrent an give them seed bonus, Chatting with users in the Chatbox is really the only way I used seedbonus given away nearly 17k of seedbonus just to random users in it.
