Not for the pc, but the corpse party games freaked me out fairly well.
There was some flash game about an old house in the middle of nowhere that housed a demon, but I cant remember it's name. I think I was on something, but I was flipping my shit.

To me it was Clock Tower for the PS1 - it was the first scary game I ever played and I would have nightmares about it when I was little. When a man with scissors jumps out of a painting, you know shit's real, lol. After that I'd say SH2.

It's gone beyond the point of being playable, I couldn't get through it because of how horrifying it is.

Of course the original Resident Evil, but nowadays I can't think of something similar.

I had high expectations in Alan Wake, but the gameplay made it a dissapointment for me sadly.
