This guy made the world war by himself, and society rewarded him by killing his soul with drugs, what a lesson of gratitude

Along the way, Alan Turing not only managed to win World War II with his invention, he basically invented the computer itself, the "Turing machine." Also, the "Turing test," which figures prominently as part of the plot structure.

On top of being an exciting and engrossing story that is not nearly well enough known, even within the gay community, the movie also sets off a few explosions about justice and decency in terms of the "crime" of "gross indecency" and how Victorian era remnants today continue to leave their past shameful behavior unatoned.
