<![CDATA[The Last of Us]]>Just start playing (and have subsequently finished playing) The Last of Us on PS3 and have found it to be one of the best games I have played in ages. Sorry to deviate and start a new forum post (there's already a thread about best game you've ever played on this forum - https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=26974.0) but I wanted to know if anyone else has played this game and what they thought.

The character design, engine and voice acting is absolutely incredible, and is undoubtedly the best I have ever seen. Additionally they chose an amazing composer for the game, Gustavo Santoalla, who is an academy award winning composer (Babel, Brokeback Mountain). While some might complain about the gameplay, I find that in this game everything really works. Wiki states that it's considered of the best games ever. I'd probably agree.

What does everyone else think?

While sure, it was inferior to the original, the dlc gave us great insight into Ellie's character and her whole back story.
I think of Left Behind as rather a side dish. Not completely necessary, but still nice to have.

but i bought the story dlc pretty quickly after finishing the main game and it kinda felt like a waste of money.  for 1/4 of the price (more than 1/2 of what i paid at used prices), it felt like barely any story or gameplay.  anyone wanting more last of us, i'd recommend re-playing rather than buying the dlc.

Hahahaha I totally agree with your comment about Joel. He was perfect. And that southern accent (which was nicely done). Made the game that much more playable 😛
