I received my seed bonus credit for doing my first upload, and I applied that and my ratio is up to 1.904, this was hours ago. about 5 or 6 and my download rights have still not been restored, am I missing something, or did I do something wrong.

I've logged out and refreshed a few times over the course of the last few hours and the orange box is still there.

Do I actually have to upload content for my ratio to move above 0? I'm seeding both of the torrents that I downloaded. Is that not enough to raise my ratio? I'm confused. I don't have any new content to upload. So is my ration just stuck at 0?

For each torrent you completely download make sure you go to the detail page and vote on the categories as that will give you two seed points

To find the ones you have downloaded but not voted on. Click on search, then click on "Show torrents not yet voted" as it will list all the torrents you can vote on.

Seeding a torrent once you have downloaded a torrent is also uploading that torrent and counts (I believe) in your UL amount. But keep in mind your UL will not raise as faster as your DL that way.

Yoou can also upload photos to torrents that the system allows to gather more seed points which can be used to purchase UL traffic

The other indirect way is to collect Seed Bonus Points and exchange them against upload credit to your account's statistics.
