Do you find acne unattractive
-
Yes. Some acne is fine even at 20 I still get some. But if it looks like you don't wash your face then I dont want kiss it.
-
I actually find acne (save the most extreme cases) kind of …. cute now. I got a crush on a cute, scrawny straight guy who happened to have bad skin, and ever since then .... it actually doesn't bother me.
Sometimes, that's all it takes to completely turn you around on certain subjects of personal appearance -- the right person can open up a whole new "type" for you. I had a similar experience with someone forever turning me onto twinks, whereas before I was fairly picky about liking jocks and even bodybuilders.

Love me some gawkish, geeky awkwardness. Glasses, too!

I think we're evolutionary driven to find it has negative. Skin is a basic indicator of health.

I definitely think after a certain point an adult should have less acne. If you are older with acne it looks like you have poor hygiene.
-
Unfortunately, no but it is not that big of a deal if it is a small amount of acne.

Sheer ignorance. I am 35 and still have it. It gets bad at times when I stress out, and it has nothing to do with my hygiene. In fact, it really seems the more I wash my face - regardless of the product I use - the worse I break out. My doctor refused to prescribe me Accutane when I was in my teens, citing dangerous side effects.. And now that it has been recalled, if I start it now I have no grounds to sue if I develop side effects later.

Trust me … there are those of us out there that find the physical trait endearing, or at least a neutral factor. We understand.

Truth is, that acne is not a puberty only thing.
Individuals with greasy skin can still get acne even in adulthood, and the greasy skin can be due to genetic factors, not bad hygiene. Acne can happen as an allergic reaction even.
I have no qualms on kissing a guy with the ocasional pimple, it's just natural…but if he's having a full outbreak, he should look for some medication.

Acne is gross and controllable
-
I find it unattractive, yes. But it isnt that big a problem anyway.
-
I'll take Acne on a guy over a shitty attitude/personality any day.
-
yes

I had acne as a teen and took Accutane. It's an awful thing to go thru when it is serious. But to answer the question, let me just say I don't find it attractive. An 18-early 20 year old with acne is one thing, it's expected and doesn't bother me as much.
I'm more "put off" by acne on a grown man's back or butt.

i'm 21 and still have acne, it's pretty sad and unattractive
-
I had acne until I started taking Accutane earlier this year. I didn't have it as a teenager. Only started having it at 19-20 (after everyone else has lost it!)
I see some guys at the gym with acne who are beautiful. If you are cute and have a nice personality, I would date you regardless of acne.
-
Depends on the person.
-
Yes, I find it unattractive but I can live with it if the guy is nice.

Ditto. It's a non-variable to me. If I find someone attractive, it's the whole package at the same time.

Personally i don't find attractive, mostly because acne should be treated, pimples and acne are totally different things, acne it's a disease and you can notice by the awful things it causes to the skin and mentally, low self-esteem, depression. Pimples can be treated with utopic products (over the skin), acne don't, needs to be treated from inside to the outside.
