<![CDATA[BANNER CONTEST the long awaited results]]>[noquote]
Some of our members will remember our BANNER CONTEST we started in December 2007, some of you even took part in the voting for this contest - now the result is ready and follows.

Sorry guys - seems a bit unfair - but viewing your efforts (thank you!) convinced us to change the rules a bit afterwards but we think we did so for your benefit - we are giving out more prizes.

The changed prizes are now:

1st place: 100 GB upload traffic and VIP status (that was what we set from the start of that contest)

the now new prizes are:

2nd place: 50 GB upload traffic
3rd place: 30 GB upload traffic
4th place: 20 GB upload traffic
5th place: 10 GB upload traffic

As we had members who uploaded only one banner up to members who uploaded 16 banners we decided to make additional average prizes (# of votes divided by # of banners):

1st average place: 30 GB upload traffic
2nd average place: 20 GB upload traffic
3rd average place: 10 GB upload traffic

Additionally every participant in the contest gets donator status (in case he is already a donator he will get upload credits for his donation amount) regardless of the number of votes they reached.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the contest, including those who voted.

i came to knw only today whn i clicked on "BANNER CONTEST the long awaited results " on home page~
not only my photoshop skills but my "flash" skills are gr8 😮 😮
i could nhav atlest won 3rd place if not 1st place :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
shame on mei didnt knw( &i guess not many knew abt it 😉
small suggestion to mods....pls do PM each and evry member so that we dont miss such great contest

shame on me, I wasn't even aware of voting capability or even the contest.  from the looks of the total votes, I guess most others didn't either or just weren't interested.
