Why it doesn't work with Firefox? :-l

I'm using Firefox and it works fine.

But like everyone has already said, the text in the top-left is difficult to read. The text that says:
Welcome back, pickknic [logout]
Ratio:1.307 Bonus: 46.3
Uploaded: 6.69 GB Downloaded: 5.12 GB

It's around the yellow/orange colours where it starts getting hard on the eyes - notice the text over the blue (and even the red) parts are fine to read. I think all that needs doing is either to darken the flag, or make it a little more grey/washed out. Changing the colour of the font/text won't fix things. For example, if you use black text, it will make stuff over the yellow part of the flag easy to read, but the darker blue area will be too hard to read then.

Ideally would be text like when you rollover/mouseover the "Home Browse Search Upload …" menu - white with a black outline. Unforunately, you can't do that effect with plain text, only with pictures

I'd like to see the number of torrents uploading/downloading above the nav. bar with the other statistics.

There's definitely a not enough contrast in the upper left between the stats and the background. I suggest using a color contrast analyzer - some of them are free and online, based on the w3c's color contrast recommendation.

I don?t want to sound ungrateful, but sorry guys i think i will vote for "No, the old Design was better "
i will wait a couple of days before i do that, I liked very much the old look of this site and I need time …...
I think the new colours will tire the eyes, black/ grey not the best combination and the small lines = headache.

GREAT DESIGN….one thing you could look at tho is the text on the upper left corner...it seems to be unreadable. After torrents I see only two arrows and nothing more...if I look closely I can see something written...maybe a font change or colour change... :w00t:

the numbers are in white color.. on dark background and very good readable.. or do we talk about different stuff?

the new design doesnt slow down the site at all… their are just a few new jpg/png files to download for that design.. several small background files and the little stuff on top of the page...

the reason why the server slows down so extremly is that we almost break our own record daily... yesterday webalizer noticed 4900 (!) calls at one day.. that is the absolut record.... almost every day a new record...
(without scrape.php and announce.php [the heart of the site] -they didnt get logged due to performance reason)

yesterday i saw 160+ people online at the same time… a record

the site just cannot handle the requests anymore...

thats why i'm now replacing the announce.php and scrape.php script due to a c++ tracker

after this is done.. the site will flow like a charm....

Yes, the server is going much slower than before.

The reason for this is that people are playing around with the site to see all the new stuff. Once people get their fill of viewing the updates/changes, the site will speed up again.

I think it's you. No problems here. Very quick site.

about some of the problems I read in this topic.
Just clear your history or browse some around on the site and it's solved.
Many PHP based sites have these kind of problems.

maybe the webserver (the runs on its last breath) was again the problem that he didnt deliver all pics..

this will be the next thing to change… fasten up this baby....

And thanks for the changes. Now it's all readable.

However, everything in the upper left corner (including "logout" link) is missing on all "Browse" pages except first.

Also all uploaders after first page of "Browse" are "Anonymous".

But - nice look overall, just a few kinks.
