<![CDATA[Luke Evans]]>I was recently dragged kicking and screaming to see Dracula Untold.  I yelled at my compainion/abductor "Why are we supporting a closet case?  Worse, an openly gay man who has gone back into the closet?"

Truth be told I waited until after watching the movie to bring up the dubious sexuality of the main character.  I mentioned Luke Evans was gay to which my companion expressed surprise.  At surprised expression I backtracked faster than Luke Evans and said "Well no, he's not gay, he is currently in a relationship with his female personal assistant."  Do we still call those beards?

Now it appears he is backtracking on his backtracking and openly admitting he is downplaying his sexuality in order to continue his upward trajectory.

Part of me understood.  Everyone is a whore and Hollywood cash is more than the sawbuck you accepted for that handy jay in the alley (ya I saw that).  I actually even came to grasp & relate to his desire for more but now that he's open about what a whore he is I am torn again.

If only we could get Elton John do go back in the closet maybe more guys would come out.

Charles Dance (Papa Lannister) is also in the Dracula film and anytime he appears on screen I figure it's worth paying attention…
