<![CDATA[DL vs Closeted Men]]>What is the difference between dating or messing around with a guy on the DL as apposed to a guy who isn't out yet? I have been with both, and it feels the same to me. Anyone wanna shed some light?

Being on the dl could mean their closeted, or it could mean they are in a relationship, or don't want friends to know about their promiscuity, or even used as a way to heighten fantasy elements.

DL (downlow) and closeted is the same thing.   It's different terms people use for the same thing.

Most often, blacks use the term DL or downlow.

I believe that it is just a little deeper than that. I used to think it was the same thing as well, but now, i'm sure it's not.
