<p dir="auto">You can change the filename but you will probably have to (in uTorrent) stop the torrent, use (right-click) Advanced and change the torrent location. Point to the renamed file, even if it's in the same folder (to uTorrent it's a different file until it has checked it). Seeding should continue.</p>
<p dir="auto">I've just tested it by changing a filename and it is quite happily seeding the original file from my renamed one. <p dir="auto">The filename has to be exactly the same or the client will download a second copy.</p>
