I do not run Windows, but I'm interested in looking at the code to see how it works. Maybe getting it to function in Linux or macOS is doable with some modifications.

So a long time ago the mods here told me I can't upload the full site rip unless I could categorize the videos.
I finally got around to writing a javascript script that scrapes all of the pages of each category in SDV.
What category do you guys think I should upload?
Also… maybe it would be better to only include highly rated videos? I'm not sure...

About the script — I sort of got it to work in Linux.
You need a program called rtmpdump. The script takes the video ID and then divides it by 1000 to give you the folder name and next tells rtmpdump to resume if it has an issue. Here is what you would type into the command line if you wanted to grab a video with the ID 29876:
rtmpdump -r "rtmp://vod.silverdaddies-videos.com/sdv" –playpath 29/29876 -o 29876.flv
If you want to resume you would add "--resume" to the end of that line, but in my experience, it just restarts the download (which it never gets very far into).
What category do you guys think I should upload?

My vote would be for "mature/mature" and "suit."
I am definitely NOT interested in "s/m," "straight," "muscular," "bondage," "crossdress," "mature/younger," "rubber," "younger," or "gloryhole." Also somewhat uninterested in "toys" and "fisting," but there are occasionally exceptions within those two categories.
The problem with filtering by ratings is that it is so subjective. You would miss out on a lot of great new videos and hidden gems. For me "mature/mature" would probably cover all of my needs; the "suit" category is so small that I think it could be ripped as well without much hassle. Those two categories would give me months of material.
Hopefully I can make enough room on my seedbox!

FsØlit have you converted it from FLV to MP4 ? Usually that SDV ripper downloads videos in FLV format.

Nice to know. If I ever want anything I can fire up a VM or something. I honestly don't visit the site much anymore since it's flashed based and I'm not going to install that travesty for one site.
