<![CDATA[Plasma Vs. Newer Screens]]>Why would they invent newer but less quality things?
Plasma screens have far more clear beautiful colors and images than any newer technology screens.
Even if they are more environment friendly and consume less power, but they were created for nice vision, not nice recycling.

First it far from being environmental friendly and it consumes much more energy.

But the major reason, is that it doesn't last as long as other technologies. A plasma television, will have dead pixels, and you will have to trade it faster than any other technology. So why would you spend so much money on something that won't last long?

In reality plasma can display 8bit color depth per channel
led/lcd can only display 6bit color depth per channel (Cartoonish effect) + blur motion (Soap Opera Effect)
Unfortunately majority of people can't see the difference …

Only DLP-projector can compete with plasma (picture quality)  :love:
